For instance you can select the exact start and stop time for each cycle, or whether it should be able to vacuum carpets first before mopping. It can also be told to re-clean areas that are particularly filthy and then increase the suction power around litter boxes for cats and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra is programmable to perform specific tasks, for example, cleaning a bathroom toilet or kitchen sink. It can also be set to automatically lift its front side brush upon detecting wet areas, and then clean debris from baseboards and corners.

It can be driven close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps, and it also raises its mop automatically when it drives over rugs and carpets with a short pile. However, it did struggle in the presence of longer-pile carpets and some long, thick messes of dried-on debris.
The S1 Pro is ready to start right straight out of the box and it just requires a quick mapping run to get to know your home. Once that's done the map will be displayed in the app and rooms can be added or combined as needed. You can also set up virtual boundaries areas, no-go zones and no-mop areas if you don't wish the robot to touch certain items.
The S1 Pro does a great job of removing messes from hard floors due to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability both to vacuum and mop makes it a great choice for homes that have floors of both types. However, its reliance on Eufy cleaning solutions (which are included in the box) makes it less versatile than other robots that allow you to use your own cleaning products.
